11:11 PM on May 18th, 2008 | Banshees Fastpitch finished 1st seed on Saturday, May 17th, 2008 at the CC Stars tournament at Limerick Park. The team played great defense only allowing 2 runs during the day. Unfortunately, the tournament was rained out on Sunday and the outcome was decided by a coin flip through the bracket.

11:11 PM on May 18th, 2008 | Banshees Fastpitch take 2nd place at X-treme Fastpitch tournament/Black Rock Park on May 10/11, 2008 after defeating the CC Stars 9-1, the Warrington Blue Thunder 5-0, and the X-treme Blue in ITB 5-4. In the championship game against Team Long Island, the girls fought till the end only losing in the 7th inning on a bloop single that scored two runs resulting in the 4-3 defeat. Great defense led the day for the lady Banshees.

11:10 PM on May 18th, 2008 | Banshees travel to Williamsport and finished in 2nd place at the Winter NSA tournament on January 19th, 2008 during indoor play. After great wins against the Lady Orioles from Baltimore and the Alley Cats from Pennsylvania, the Banshees lost a tough game to the Vienna VA Stars. What a great start to the new year for the Banshees!! |
